Circuit board layout software and low-cost?
Traditionally these two things dont go together. But with DipTrace they DO !
We are now reps for DipTrace, and it is available to purchase through us right now :-)
DipTrace offers some great features and rivals Eagle:
-full parts editor and libraries, over 100K parts! -advanced copper pours (hatched etc) -import/export between Eagle, and other formats -full schematic editor -advanced autorouter with great BGA fanouts! -advanced options like tented vias!!
We will be using DipTrace for our upcoming BGA-based Reflow controller.
There will be a promo offer when you buy DipTrace to get a free Reflow controller :-)
Great options, a cheap commercial price, you simply cant go wrong with DipTrace! |

What beautiful twin peaks!!!
This was the view on our spectrum analyzer with the output of our techFX Telemetry board hopping between two frequencies (5 Mhz apart).
The code is coming along, optimizing things and writing high level functions for easier frequency hopping, and tuning.
Next up is to tailor the 1 Mbit RS232 interface, the output power amp (upto 13 watts in many freq band flavors) and a few other juicy code treats.
The Code will be included as usual making this a great PLL+VCO training board if you've never programmed one. Keep checking our development blog for updates! |

Thanks go out to all of you who made it possible for us to make this donation and enrich the lives of some very special kids.
Remember to take part in your community, volunteer, donate and help out in any way you can. Life is not about the money, nor all circuit boards. |

Our rev B boards of the techFX Telemetry look great!
Putting them through the testing gauntlet.
Temperature compensated XO on a PLL'd VCO, fast little DSP, fast RS-232 upto 1 Mbit (and more), adjustable RF output 0-13 Watts, and small channel spacing make for a great Telemetry transmitter board.
Oh yah we put it in a nice lightweight aluminum enclosure too :-) which doubles as a heatsink.
Great for NearSpace applications using APRS and other data networks!!
Checkout our development blog for news and updates :-) |

We've tested out the UBLOX GPS implementation on the Killer AHRS.... and all we can say is WOW!
The UBLOX 5 Engine is pretty impressive, offering quick TTFF, great accuracy + precision, and a pretty amazing set of features.
Still up is our jamming / interference testing which should prove good according to data available from UBLOX.
 UBLOX 5 Engine? Nope.
We are going with the new UBLOX 6 Engine which just came out, and is even better.
The offboard active patch antenna performed pretty good too.
